I’m not really sure how I met Jessica, but it was a couple (?) years ago soon after I started doing photography full time. I *think* I got her name from a mutual friend, but however it happened, I am glad it did!

Jessica took my newborn workshop, and then we turned around and used her gorgeous home as a host-home for the classes as I went studio-searching, so I got to hang out with Jess and her family a little bit more, and when we talked about her upcoming birth and birth photography, I let her know I would love to photograph her new little Limebaby entering the world.

So a few weeks ago, I got the text that got my butt to the hospital at 3:00 am and I was one of a very small group of people (the typical nurses, doctor and of course dad-to-be) who got to see Cohen take his first breath! Needless to say, he’s now one of the few little guys I’ve been privileged to witness being born, so I’m totally feeling all extra warm and fuzzy towards him! 🙂

I was thrilled to have his mom, dad and big brother come to the studio this past weekend for a SUPER easy newborn shoot! Jessica followed my instructions to a T and I don’t think I saw Cohen’s eyes the entire shoot! Even with all THREE of my kids screaming like banshees in the office while watching Jumanji blaring on the TV (BTW, thanks, Matt for wrangling them for two hours!).

Can’t wait to watch this new little person grow over the years!
